Terrain Tamer has specially designed tooling for a range of driveline components, including their CV Joints, to ensure the highest quality and consistency across their entire range. With the promise of better than genuine, Terrain Tamer has used their own designs, while working alongside the world’s leading OEM manufacturers to produce the quality parts.

During development, each 4x4 CV Joint undergoes a thorough independent hardness, stress and metallurgy test conducted in Melbourne, Australia. Tests are conducted with the genuine equivalents as a comparison, in order to ensure that Terrain Tamer parts are comparative. In all cases the Terrain Tamer parts met the OEM standard, with many exceeding the hardness, strength and tensile strain of the genuine ones.

The growing list of parts designed in this program currently also includes a range of modified drive shafts, hubs, tail shafts, spindles and axles, and every 4x4 part of the range that is manufactured has to undergo batch testing to ensure consistency throughout the production.

A 4WD CV joint (Constant Velocity Joint) is an important part of your car's driveline. It helps transfer power from the transmission to the wheels at a consistent speed, regardless of the angle. CV joints wear out over time and need to be replaced to ensure that your vehicle runs smoothly and safely. At Terrain Tamer, we offer high-quality replacement CV joints in Australia to get you back on the road quickly and affordably.

The inner part of a CV joint contains several small roller bearings that help transmit power while allowing movement between the axle shafts and drive shafts. As angle changes occur within your vehicle's suspension, these bearings help maintain a smooth energy flow when transferring power between walls at different angles. This allows your car to turn more tightly by avoiding bind-up or harsh shifting during turns or when cornering. Keeping these components in good condition will ensure the optimal performance of your car's traction system!

4WD CV joints offer a number of advantages over other types of drive shafts. They provide better performance and fuel efficiency, as well as improved power transmission to the wheels. Additionally, CV joints are more resistant to wear and tear than other parts, meaning they can last longer and require less maintenance. For those looking for an affordable replacement option, CV joints provide the perfect solution.
