Brown Davis long range fuel tanks are an engineered solution to enable you to travel further with less fuel stops. They are designed to give maximum fuel capacity without affecting ground clearance, ramp over or departure angle, whilst being exceptionally strong to withstand the most rigorous of conditions. Brown Davis long range tanks allow you to travel to the most remote parts of the globe where the standard tank wouldn’t take you.

This system is designed to pump the fuel from the Brown Davis auxiliary fuel tank into the vehicles standard fuel tank. At the flick of a switch, fuel will replenish your vehicles standard tank, which in turn is then fed to the engine. An LED gauge is supplied to show the driver the fuel level of the auxiliary fuel tank at all times. When the auxiliary tank becomes empty an automatic alarm will sound to alert the driver to switch the pump system off. This prevents the pump from continuously running, preventing fuel pump failure. All parts and hardware for installation are supplied.

Brown Davis Aluminised Steel long range fuel tanks are constructed from 2mm aluminium coated cold rolled steel, to ensure maximum strength and durability. This gauge of steel is sufficiently resistant to impact damage that additional tank guards are not necessary. The aluminium coating on the specific steel used by Brown Davis, offers the best of both worlds with the strength of steel and the anti corrosion properties of aluminium.

The Runva 13XP Premium is a very popular option, and is perfect for large heavy vehicles. Featuring a massive 13,000lb of line pull from the powerful and reliable 7.6HP motor. The gearbox is a three stage planetary setup with tough 228:1 gear ratio to handle the heaviest of recoveries. This model is the ideal choice for loaded up Landcruiser 79 Series all the way through to the American Dodge Ram, Tundra, F150 or anything else that requires some serious winch power. (The Runva 13XP Premium is also compatible with a variety of other vehicles. This winch is quite large so check out our technical drawing below to ensure fitment on your application)

This model has all of our Premium features built in. Feel confident in the most extreme conditions with full IP67 ingress protection. The brake is our most advanced Ratchet system which is located in the gearbox which is super efficient and able to hold without fail when you stop winching. (Same brake as featured in our vertical lifting winch). Unlike the other traditional brake systems which uses brake pads, this will not wear out. 

The clutch is easily engaged/disengaged via the Rotary Clutch system. The 13XP Premium is also fully compatible with our optional extra Runva Air Clutch for easy in-cab control.
